I never really took myself for a Fall girl. I’ve always loved winter because it brings Christmas, and that is my favorite time of year, but for some reason, Fall has really got me in it’s grip this year.
I’ve been pretty sick most of this week, yesterday was the first day I felt like I could function normally, and boy did I function. The cooler temperatures called for all sorts of baking and cooking, and I did just that, all day. Pumpkin, bananana, apple cinnamon, soup, soup, soup . . . even some pizza rolls at the end of the day.
Today I’m inspired to go spend money on a fall sweater and maybe some flat-soled boots. Too bad inspiration doesn’t translate to endless amounts of $$ in the bank to go and indulge myself in the shopping spree. 🙂 There is just something wonderful striking me about fall today. It feels like family pictures and Good Earth Tea. It feels like leaves and chilly cheeks, the stinky smell of boys who’ve been outside permeating the house . . .
It feels like Fall, and I’m really liking it.
What’s your favorite season? Why?
