The ISBN numbers have been purchased (the little barcode on the back of every book you’ve ever purchased from a store.), the book is almost finished being edited, even though the Waldo Canyon fire in Colorado Springs threatened the home of my dear friend and editor, Laurie Thornton. Once it’s finished, there are still many steps to go through before the book is available for purchase, but it’s definitely well on it’s way!
I am super excited, and totally overwhelmed by the process in front of me. This is so much more than I ever thought it would be (kind of like parenting . . . *ahem*), but its totally worth it (kind of like parenting . . . ), and I can’t wait to hold an actual copy of my book in my hands, and then to start sending out the perks for those of you who have supported this work. To sign my name to your personal copy of my book and put it in the mail to say THANK YOU!
We are working towards a late August release date, but because of the set back of the fire and mandatory evacuations that ensued, we may be looking at September instead. I’m really hoping for August, but with the work that is still ahead of us, it might just be better to aim for September. I’ll keep you posted here, and believe me, when it’s finally released, the whole world will know 😉
